WHAT IS A SOUND BATH?

A sound bath is an immersive whole body experience designed to harness the therapeutic and rejuvenating power of sound, promoting  mental and physical wellbeing.

During a sound bath, participants lie or sit down in a comfortable position, often in a quiet and peaceful environment. It is a therapeutic and meditative practice that involves the use of sound to support relaxation, reduce stress and enhance overall wellbeing.

A sound therapist uses a combination of singing bowls, chimes, voice and other sound producing tools to create harmonious healing soundscapes. The sound infused frequencies support a whole body listening experience which induces deep states of relaxation.

The use of sound as a therapeutic and meditative practice dates back thousands of years and has a rich history that spans many cultures and civilisations.Today sound baths are one of the best ways to experience mindfulness, all you need to do is listen and be in the moment.

Nina Shayan facilitates sound baths for individuals, groups and organisations ranging from family gatherings, special occasions, supporting yoga classes, aged care facilities, community groups and charity events.
